Personally I speak about 4 languages. And I have learned all of these in the speed learning languages way.

Speed learning was first developed as a way of teaching kids about language. So yes, it is fair to say that this is a very effective strategy of learning a foreign language.

Taking the first lessons would of course be the hardest when it comes to speed learning languages. I remember just being dumbfounded and confused in the initial few days of my courses.

But through the years, I've noticed that there are a couple of things you can do in order to make the learning far easier.

1. Identify the factors that speeds or slows down your lessons.

First of all, you have to know that there many factors that make a contribution to how fast or slow you can absorb info.

Your environment is an enormous determiner here. A disheveled space would make it tougher for you to work on your lessons. So be sure to keep a clean and relaxing desk or office.

1. Learn all about the culture too.

Now, one of the best mediums for speed learning languages is through watching videos and films of the foreign language that you want to learn. When you see how the person acts somehow, you'll get an idea of what a word means. Listening to the actor's inflection and tone of voice would also help you speed learn the language.

1. Study in chunks

Another way to speed learning languages is through a speed learning technique called "chunking" and this is a process whereby you divide your lessons into small chunks. Start with the best phrases or words and build up to the hard ones. Towards the end of your course, you will retain more info.

1. Develop the right mindset

When you first asserted that you'll learn a totally new language, what percentage of your buddies or associates told you it might be hard? How many said it'd be not possible?

And how many of these essentially knows the language you plan to learn?
